The President Speaks, Greetings to all the Pastors, Moderators, Leaders and laity that makes up the body of the all Il National Baptist State Convention. I pray God’s blessings on all of you as we move forward a fellow laborers in the year 2018. It is my prayer that we will continue to work together in unity, harmony and prayer as “Partners in Ministry”. Let me express my deepest heartfelt gratitude for continued support and encouragement. As partners in ministry, we can accomplish more togTether than we can alone, because as partners, everyone is working in agreement to accomplish the goals that God has set for us. Paul said, to the church at Philippi, that every time he would think of them he would give thanks unto God because they had been his partners spreading the Good News about Jesus Christ. I sincerely echo those words to the INBSC body for that is how I feel about you. I am certain that God who began the good work in the convention, will continue His work until it is finished on the day when Jesus Christ returns. At this juncture, first, our prayers go out to Rev. Snirley Sompson, praying for his speedy recovery, and then to him and the Mt. Ridge family for the hospitality that was extended to the INBSC during the Fall Board Meeting. We truly enjoyed the fellowship, the friendship the food and certainly the demonstration of brotherly love. Dr. Joel D. Taylor
